About the Company:

  The first DoraLee’s K9 biscuits were made when  Dora Trimbee decided to use a homemade recipe to make dog cookies for her dogs.  The purpose of making the cookies was to provide a healthy and nutritious treats for her dogs (Riley and Moochie). 

  Riley and Moochie tested and approved the homemade treats made of beef, chicken, or vegetable garlic flavors as they were being made.  The dogs chose the homemade cookies over the mass marketed commercial brand made dog cookies when offered one of each kind.  The dogs continue to be the official testers and approvers of cookies being baked and packaged for sale.

Two new flavors for the K9 biscuits were added made from peanut butter, and lean ground beef with the same favorable response from Riley and Moochie. 

    One thing led to another and soon after a home based business was created in the kitchen of Dora’s family home in Oakville. 

  Demand for the packages of various flavored homemade K9 biscuits, and boxes of variety-flavored biscuits, Christmas gift baskets and stockings with the homemade K9 biscuits and special treats has steadily been growing with orders across Canada from British Columbia to Newfoundland.

  Hand made from fresh quality ingredients, lots of tender loving care, with no chemicals, additives or preservatives. 

  The K9 biscuit recipes include ingredients for flavors of peanut butter, garlic, beef, chicken, or vegetable broth.

 
 These K9 biscuits are oven baked on stoneware to ensure thorough even cooking.

   Storing these K9 biscuits properly at room temperature will keep 3 weeks or more.  They may also be refrigerated and frozen. 

  Since the biscuits contain no preservatives, they should be checked for mold before serving beyond the recommended 3-week storage at room temperature.
